Analysis of student learning paths in the area of Programming using knowledge graphs

Resumen

El propósito de este trabajo es presentar el análisis de las rutas de aprendizaje y del nivel de dominio de los saberes adquiridos por los estudiantes en el área de Programación II. El estudio tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo exploratorio y con una muestra conformada por 30 estudiantes de tres secciones a quienes se les aplicó la evaluación mediante rúbricas. Los resultados obtenidos muestran el nivel de dominio de aprendizaje mediante el uso de grafos de conocimiento, donde se identificó el nodo Objetivo (O) de cada departamental, a los que se le asignó una Ponderación Actual (PA) respectivamente de 86%, 86.2% y 88.3% siendo los aprendizajes relevantes, donde los estudiantes obtuvieron un promedio de aprovechamiento de 8.94 alcanzado un nivel de dominio de la competencia como suficientemente desarrollada. Finalmente, las rutas de aprendizaje logran atender las necesidades personales de aprendizaje y los grafos de conocimiento profundizan el dominio de los saberes.

The purpose of this work is to present the analysis of the learning paths and the level of mastery of the knowledge acquired by students in the area of Programming II. The study with a quantitative approach, exploratory type and with a sample made up of 30 students from three sections to whom the evaluation was applied through rubrics. The results obtained show the level of learning mastery through the use of knowledge graphs that randomly identified the Objective node (O) to which a Current Weight (PA) of 86%, 86.2% and 88.3 were assigned, being the learning relevant where the students obtained an average of 8.94 reaching a level of mastery of the competence as sufficiently developed. Finally, the learning paths manage to meet personal learning needs, and the knowledge graphs deepen the mastery of knowledge.
